Learn How I Build Bridges Between People and Ideas
Community-led research at the intersection of wellbeing, community belonging and Indigenous identity.
Research can challenge the complexities of working within a settler colonial institution, while protecting Indigenous knowledges and actively participating in decolonization through building relationships with kin, community, and the Land.
Growing Stronger Together
The Urban Indigenous Wellbeing aims to build an innovative research, training, and mentorship community that is centred on the wellbeing of urban Indigenous communities. We are working together to address the critical need for culturally safe health research processes that prioritize urban Indigenous Peoples’ leadership and self-determination in research.

Research Mentorship Through Community Collaboration
For too long Indigenous voices have been excluded from research. Through collaborative research with Indigenous organizations, I am committed to mentoring Indigenous undergraduate and graduate students and community members with the ultimate aim of building community-based research capacity.
